Anteje thanks.

I tried DBE, but I can not get your result.  You used sample generation or you put samples for background?
Can you show me location for samples?

Thanks and regards, Brane

Hi Brane, I also did two DBE. Try the attached process. It is a nice image, I also would like to go a little further to deal with HSV Reparation and MaskedStretch.

Saludos, Alejandro.

Hola. escribo en castellano, el ingles no se me da muy bien.
Me ha pasado esto alguna vez.  La solución es abrir el archivo con worpad, mejor que con otro editor de texto.
Hay que borrar las primeras lineas hasta:
<xpsm version="1.0" xmlns="http://www.pixinsight.com" . Esta la dejas sin borrar. POr lo menos a mi me funciona así.
ESpero que os sirva.
Un saludo

Gracias joruna!

I checked in a windows system and if I compress the file as .7z it works fine. I will try to remember compressing that way in the future.

Saludos,
Alejandro.

Alejandro:  this was incredibly helpful..thank you!  Really creative approach to processing

would you please comment on use of star alignment structure map rather than star mask to create some of these masks in this processing?  I'm trying to learn when to choose that over star mask?

same for wavelet layers vs. range masks?

Hi Jeff, generating the structure map with StarAlignment tool is fast and easy, that is the main reason why I used to use it. If you are refering to this particular processing example, in this case I used Binarize tool to solve the mask in the core of the cluster but using StarAlignment could also have generated a suitable mask.
Saludos, Alejandro.
