Interesting, I have not used EZDecon for a very long time so have no first hand experience of this but a good warning!!!

It's true, it doesn't work. But if I first create a starmask with StarNet2 and then run EZDecon, everything seems to work. Any confirmation?

But I seem to remember that EZDecon worked with Starnet2 in PI 1.8.9-1. Is the problem only with StarNet2 recompiled for PI 1.8.9-2? Or maybe I'm wrong?

This. That's why the developer offers 2 versions on his website, one for v18.9-1 and one for 1.8.9-2.

I don't think this is the explanation: pfile pointed out the different behavior between StarNet++ and Starnet2 in EZDecon regardless of PI versions 1.8.9-1 and 18.9-2.

I downloaded the fixed EZ-S and kept the zip file on a network share for future reinstallation.
