Unable to download repository info

I tried the new update on Win7 x64 (running as administrator) and got this error.  In the details it says

http://update.pixinsight.com/:parsing repository update information: Invalid platform 'version' attribute
value:1.6.9.951:1.6.9.151(line = 143,column=70)

Hi Rob,

This is very strange. There is no such error in the updates.xri file that provides repository information. Are you still getting this error? Have you updated to build 652?

Hi Juan,

I'm having the same problem..

http://update.pixinsight.com/: Parsing repository update information: Invalid platform 'version' attribute value: 1.6.9.651:1.6.9.651 (line=143,column=70)

I'm also running PI on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits as admin user.

Thanks in advance!

Ricardo

Juan, I'm very confused. I am getting the same error message on linux. You suggest updating to 652, but I see no such thing on the dist site. Am I missing something here?

Hi Fabio,

What version do you have? You should have 1.6.9.651. This version must be downloaded from the software distribution site and installed manually. Once you have 651, it will update to 652.

On Linux, you must remove the previous version and uncompress the tar.gz to an empty directory.

Let me know if it works.

Hi,
sorry for the double post, here and on the PixInsight forum.
Anyway, I had the 651 already, but for whatever reason, it gave me the error. I redownloaded it and reinstalled, and it updated nicely to 652.

Fabio
