SubframeSelector issue : can't open ARW raw files

Hello,

I'm running the latest 1.8.8-8 version of Pixinsight and it looks like I can't use anymore the SubframeSelector process !
I've tried to repair Pix but it doesn't fix the issue.

After selecting my pictures, I then would like to get them measured and the process immediately stops (as shown below with the error).

It seems like Pixinsight cannot open anymore my ARW raw files (from SONY A7s DSLR)!!!

It never happened before.
Any idea what is going wrong ?

Thanks for your help.

FYI, I've now discovered that if the RAW files are stored on Windows Desktop, Pixinsight fails in opening. If the same files are copied somewhere else on the hard drive, Pixinsight opens the files !

I know why this was failing : as thought, I got a non ascii character in the folder name. Looks like Pix doesn' like that. Once the folder has been renamed without this non ascii character, the images can be read and opened.
Thanks for this hint !

this is some kind of issue with the latest version of LibRAW - if there is a non-ascii character in the filename (or path) then it can't find the file. i guess unicode support was turned off by default when juan built libRAW.
