It shouldn't if you have https://www.skypixels.at/HVB_Repository/ in your repository list.

Every update/upgrade, deletes the folder of Pixinsight and performs a clean installation.
For GAIA DR3/DR3SP it is recommended to keep the files at a different folder/SSD. For 3rd party scripts/processes you could do the same or install manually again.

I would not generally maintain any third-party scripts or processes for manual installation if they are supported by the repository system.

Thanks. This is how it should be. There are many posts that report a convulsed method of downloading a folder, adding it to favorites, searching for it, etc. Again, this is how it should be -- add a URL to the repository list. THANK YOU.

You are right, missed that part. For this particular repository I do it manually, because (so far) I only use 2 scripts on my system.
