not a bug [1.8.9-2] Possible Image Solver bug?

Hi,
I am trying to run Image Solver on a series of files, but for some of them I get the message

*** Error: Error: Position.Position(): invalid argument type: numeric value expected.

This is part of the log with some image working and some failing with this error.
Note that, even for the files that have been working, it looks like there have been no files saved. It might be that there are some other issues on my side, but still, it's worth to mention...

Note that this error is given (from what I understand) before starting to analyse the image, so I don't think it's a problem on the file itself.
Also (but it might be bad luck and not a bug), the bottom right cell ImageSolverClipArea seems to be failing very often, even if the rest of the image is recognised ok. I don't know some parameter is not passed correctly for that specific area.

The Advanced alignment option should never be used in batch operations. It is intended for exceptional cases and must never be used without supervision. Actually, it is almost always unnecessary with the new distortion modeling algorithm we have implemented in version 6 of the script.

Please repeat the process with default parameters (and the advanced alignment option disabled) and report here.

I have run it on a signle image without the advanced alignment and it worked (I can't get a solution on the full image for some reason, only on the partial ones, but I'm working with a bit peculiar images...).
My second report, anyway, was referring to an individual run, not a batch operation.
Just for my understanding, what do you mean by using the advanced alingment with "supervision"?
 
I mean that the advanced alignment option should never be used in batch tasks with the ImageSolver script. Actually, this option will probably be removed in the next version of the script, since it's no longer necessary.

My second report, anyway, was referring to an individual run, not a batch operation.

Please upload the image and I'll see if I can solve it. If there is a problem, this will help me understand and fix it.

I'm having this same error message and failure to solve. All settings are default except the needed image parameters and selection of Local XPSD server. I'm using the "List of files" to batch solve the first 9 panels of my mosaic, all fail with the exact same message gpaolo70 posted. Also, when pressing the "Pause/Abort" button in the Process Console asks if I want to abort while it's working away, and clicking "Yes" does nothing, it will continue trying to solve each image and does not actually cancel the process.

Something of note, loading one of the images into PI and using "Active window" solves without issue, I can only replicate the issue by pointing to the files.
Using Windows 11 and build 1601 of PI if that's helpful.

Seems like the "List of files" feature doesn't work. I've never used it before, so I don't know if this is a new issue or not.

The "list of files" feature does work but the information from the "Image Parameters" section of the script is not used with this option enabled (because the information is different for the different files).

Bottom line:
You can only use the list of files feature if the minimum data (coordinates, focal length, pixel size and date) is present and correct in all listed files.

In the case of @mar504 I think the pixel size information is missing (or incorrect: I'm not sure where ImageSolver gets this value of 7.4 um) as well as the observation date. Moreover, the problem lies earlier in the workflow imo because the panels should already be solved.
