Hi to all,
I am trying to follow all possible tutorials across internet to get a correct background extraction , my image has a lot of light pollution.
wich approach should I follow way to get rid of this gradient?
Attached you can see my image, it is milky way, some suggestion will be appreciated.
regards

DBE should work, but you will need to increase the sample tolerance to make sure you capture the brightness in the lower left corner.

thanks I am trying it but now image looks noisy and color is strange.
wich steps should I follow ? first DBE and then background neutralization , or maybe SCNR?
thanks

on an image like that i would use DBE first. with that much LP in the image most of the signal is probably light pollution, so when you remove that, the noise that's in the actual DSO signal is revealed.

SCNR to green might remove the green cast but it won't remove the LP signal from the other channels. DBE is the right tool for that.

well finally I got a good result, instead of using substraction , using division.
Now it is time to remove noise.
