Processes in desktop folders

I don't think there is a way to do this but if there is, please let me know. If not, consider it a request.

With the rapidly proliferating number of processes and scripts, the common user standard way of using process icons on the PI desktop for one's processes with one's custom settings can make your PI desktop crowded.

Is there a way to group icons in (for want of a better term) "icon folders". Since processing tends to be done in stages with similar processes used around the same time frame during the processing, it would make sense to be able to "declutter" the desktop by being able to place sets of process icons into PI desktop "folders".

For example, one could have all of one's pixel math saved processes in one folder, all of your narrowband related scripts in another, all of your star reduction items in another, etc. (examples are endless depending on the individual). Clicking on the folder would expand/reduce the folder for when one is using/not using the processes within.

You can do that already with PixInsight.

E.g., define your PixelMath icons, set identifier and description for each of them, select them altogether, right-click and use 'Save selected icons'. This set of icons can be loaded from the menu using 'PROCESS>Process Icons>Load Process Icons...'.

Not what I meant. I know you can do what you describe and I do that but it requires several steps, as you have shown. What I meant is the ability for a user create a PI desktop folder to contain user chosen or created process icons. Clicking on that folder that would spin it open on the desktop to reveal the icons the user has placed in that folder. Much simpler and would massively declutter the desktop.

It would be for any process or script as well, not just pixelmath.
