ColorMask update
« on: 2015 December 28 03:11:23 »
I have been meaning to do some work on ColorMask for a long time and finally got a few hours over the holidays. It was mostly a matter of removing stuff that I'd never really found a use for rather than adding new features :)  Changes are:
  • Removed the midpoint slider since I'd never created a range that didn't have it in the middle
  • Removed the wavelet blur option. It's a lot easier to blur the masks afterwards with your favourite tool (I mostly use Convolution)
  • The preset colour buttons use more generic values
  • The curve options have been reduced to the ones I find most useful (95% of the time I use the default chrominance curve with the default 100% strength)
  • You can now save the settings as a process icon!

I hope the new version is useful. If I removed something you rely on please let me know and I'll restore it! I still have a list of requests to be implemented but they are mostly more difficult items and will take a bit longer...

Update: v0.7 attached with Mask Blur feature restored.

Cheers,
Rick.

You need to apply the script by clicking the OK button. Check and see if that works for you. The New Instance icon is currently only used for creating process icons. As far as I can tell all scripts work this way.

Cheers,
Rick.
