What is It?
« on: 2015 December 08 08:42:26 »
Hello Everyone

Last night imaging Pelican and I get a strange object in one corner of the frame but if I moved the frame a little towards this strange thing in the picture it now is in the opposite corner.

Both Image low quality just needed to compress so much to send it in the forum. 1st image starnge object lower left side image and 2nd image it is in the uupper right.

So what is it?

I have not changed the orientation of the camera at all just slewed to a different position towards the object

Hello Again

Forgot to say it is not present in any other image taken on the same night. Just when pointing to the Pelican Nebula

Steve,
I get this with a couple of my lenses.  I concluded it is an internal reflection from a bright star in the image.  As you found, moving the field shifts the reflection but, for reasons I can't figure out, my reflections seem always to be in the corners of the image. ???
