GradientMergeMosaic problem
« on: 2015 September 15 00:24:28 »
I want to make my first mosaic in Pixinsight 1.8 and to keep it simple i started with 2 panels (Veil nebula area) and plenty of overlap (see screenshot). Each panel has the same exposure conditions, is lineair and i have used staralignment to prepare them for the gradient merge mosaic. I end up with this strange result, have used "type of combination" average and overlay.

What am i doing wrong?

Yes! Already the staralignment with "register/Union-Mosaic and frame adaption gives a very good result! Thank you soooo much for this tip!

Now on to the rest of the video!
