Is there a process or script that can batch rename files?

I'm sure there are plenty of programs/scripts out there that do this. Why would you want to do so in PI? ;)

So that I don't need yet another program to do just 1 task. No big deal though. I was just wondering if PI could do this.

Hi, you can use ImageContainer. Just select your images, in "Output Template" write the new name, for example "newname.fit" and generate the Icon Instance of ImageContainer. Finaly apply NoOperation process on it.
Saludos, Alejandro.
