PixInsight 1.8.4.1171 Ripley Released

Hi all,

Version 1.8.4.1171 of PixInsight for Linux and Windows is now available. Build 1171 is a bugfix release:

- Windows and Linux version: Fixed a bug where the Preview Properties and Make Image from Preview dialogs could not be closed, neither by rejecting nor by accepting them, leading to a crash. See the original bug report:

- Linux version: Builds 1167-1170 were compiled with SSSE3 instruction support by mistake (a bug in the MakefileGenerator script). This prevents execution on AMD processors older than the Bobcat architecture (2011). Build 1171 has been compiled with just SSE3 support, which should solve this problem.

Dear Juan,

Still having a problem when opening the file window (it´s initially blank). After closing the program, I also receive multiple error messages.
I reverted to the older 1,8.3 version and it is ok. I´m using W7.
Anyway thanks for the great work!

Thanks Juan and team for your great effort.

I loaded latest version last night and up to now, every thing ok. (I'm using windows 8.1 x64 on AMD processor).
