RGB integration after debayering
« on: 2014 December 18 07:09:21 »
Hello all

This might be a very quick yes or no.

I have converted, calibrated, registered and debayered my Nikon DSLR subframes, ready for integration.

It seems there are two choices:

1) Integrate the RGB subframes into an RGB image, or
2) Extract the RGB channels from the each of the subframes, integrate each channel separately, then recombine into an RGB image.

It won't make any difference to follow the more laborious process (2), will it?

Thanks!

Simon

No, doing 2 will not make a difference.

Georg, thank you for the clarity and certainty of your response!

Juan, thanks also for your intervention.  I am very pleased to say that was my typing mistake!

Regards to both
