Same Process, Two Images
« on: 2014 October 25 12:33:40 »
I'm working on a deep image of Sh2 187 and have culled my data by up to 2.5" seeing and then from 2.5+ to 3". I've aligned all data to the same single frame so all are aligned to each other. I'm trying to see if there is a visual difference between the master frame of the 2.5" and then with the additional up to 3" images. So now I have masters of each combined using LinearFit Avg consisting of 44 - 15 minute images for the 2.5" and 63 - 15 minute images of up to 3". So I want to crop each the same as well as choosing the same background sample before doing masked stretched on both each with values of the default 0.0125 and 0.09. I've looked at image container and really don't see how I could do this.

Ideally I'd like to perform identical processes on each image and if I could do that both at the same time it would eliminate any possibility of error. Can this be done? At this point I have to go back and revisit the color data but I think I have 22 red, 18 green, and 20 blue 15 minute subs to use but that might be shy of some newer data over the past few days. But total time should be a minimum of 26 hours for the final image. The color is binned 2x2 while the luminance is binned 1x1.

Thanks,
Steve
