Load Process Icon at start
« on: 2014 October 22 22:09:42 »
Is it possible to load a process icon or icons automatically when you start PixInsight? I am currently using Windows but would like to know about the other platforms also.

Thank You,

Mike

The startup.scp script has moved in version 1.8. It is now on the etc/startup installation directory, so the correct command to edit it is as follows:

open "$PXI_BASEDIR/etc/startup/startup.scp"

The rest of the information in the link Steve has given above is correct. For a normal PixInsight installation you'll have to have administrative rights to change this script, as it is on a protected system directory (such as "C:\Program Files" on Windows or "/opt" on FreeBSD and Linux).

You can also open PI by clicking on an icon set's xpsm file, PI will open with that icon set loaded. You can of course, also save an icon set within a project!
Best always, Warren
