Dynamic crop, how to find the same
« on: 2014 September 26 21:09:58 »
Hi,
How to remake the same crop on two series of images? Last year, I made a series of images of ngc6888 in Ha with all PI pre-treatment (I use dynamic_crop). This year I remade a series of ngc6888 in LRGB with the same material. I would stack this series with the series of last year but I can not find the same dynamic_crop. Is this possible without redoing everything? Can you help me? Thank you.

sure, just use your old image as the reference image for the StarAlignment of the new subexposures. you may need to tweak the star detection parameters a little bit since your finished image is stretched, but it should work.

Indeed! He was thinking! I thought the reference image (which is resized by dynamic_crop) should be the same size as the other news. It works! Thank you!
