Trifid Neb from last weekend

Here is a Trifid I took last weekend.  6x5 min each of R,G,B and 12x5 min of Lum.  Taken with AT106 and Atik314L+.

Joe,

Nice image but it looks like the star alignment might be off a tad. Look at your original RGB image and see if you can see this. Look at the brighter stars and see the blue dots at about 11 o'clock.

Thanks Steve I will check that out.  I don't always get a clean image using StarAlignment, but must of missed this one.  Thanks for looking.

Not sure how you process but I always align all images of the same binning. In my case that's all RGB images after calibration and cosmetic correction. The luminance images are binned 1x1 while the rgb is 2x2 for me.  Then I create the red, green, and blue masters combining them with the Channel Combination process.

These are all 1x1, as most of my imaging is....I follow the same procedure as you outlined.
