Video Card and PI
« on: 2013 December 27 02:37:27 »
Hi,

I'm planning to buy a new PC, I know lots of RAM and a fast processor are important, but does the video card play a big role?
Since I'm no gamer, I don't want to buy an expensive video card if it's processing power is not going to be used by PI.
Is there a difference between using Win7-64 or Linux in this respect?

Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Albert

For PI, a normal video card <$100 or builtin is sufficient.
