I'm new to this forum, so first thing to say is hello to everyone! I've been using PI for a couple of months and so far I've been having lots of fun and getting along quite well with it. Usually one can find answers to the most common queries in the very many good tutorials or threads. However, I do have one question which I haven't been able to figure out. This concerns achieving a pleasing color in the faint dust the surrounds some reflection nebulas. Typical example is the Iris, here is my attempt at it:
http://www.astrobin.com/58239/I'm sort of happy with this rendition except that I couldn't give the dust the brownish colour that we often see. Any ideas as to how to go about it? I'm attaching the processed luminance so you can have an idea of the data I was working with.
