Window transparency not working in 1.8 OS10

Hello all!

 I'm new to PI so it is probably a wrong setting but I can't get the windows to go transparent when dragged. I am operating 1.8 on a OS-10 Imac. I have 1.7 working on a Windows7  computer and it is working fine. Was transparency taken out in this latest release? Apologies if this has been already discussed but I can't seem to find the answer.. Thanks in advance!

Update.. Just installed 1.8 on the W7 computer and transparency is working on it..

not sure if it was ever in there - this difference has been around for a while. juan would have to comment.

Thanks for the reply! Not a big deal just curious.. And wondering if I missed a setting..
 I'm happy with the windows platform.
