NGC 7023
« on: 2013 April 14 10:53:59 »
Hi guys, recently I have tried to reprocess my older data of this jewel in Cepheus.

Taken in May 2012 in southern France, in the region of Grandes Causses at about 1000m altitude.
TS/GSO AG 200/F4 with ASA 2KORRR 0,73 resulting in F2,9
Canon 450D Astrodon modified
Gemini G53F mount guided by Lacerta on Megrez 72
28x5 min./ ISO800
No folters
Processed Pixinsight only

I did not use too much noise reduction, because to my eye images look more natural with a bit of noise than with muddy details and lack of mircostructures, sorry for that. Maybe I just did not discover all features of Pixinsight yet, working on it;)

Very nice indeed Jan! Seems like the 8"/ASA0,73 is a very cool combo. Maybe I should follow your example.

Best regards,
