2 Pixinsight meeting in France
« on: 2012 October 29 04:22:27 »
Hello

At the end of the week, I will present PIXINSIGHT in PARIS at the "Rencontres du Ciel et de l'Espace" (November 1-2-3). The most important astronomer meeting every 2 years with many conferences and distributor / manufacture booths.
I will do a 30-45min general presentation of Pixinsight (a PPT/PDF file) 8)
I have most of the part, but can I take some screen copy which are in this forum to present some functions ? O:)

for AIP, http://www.astro-images-processing.fr/ Like we have done in May 2012 to begin, in February 2013, there will be a 3 days training course, with 3 Pixinsight groups (2 groups for beginners, 1 group for experimented user) and 1 Photoshop group !
I will be in charge of the experimented group  :police:
We are waiting almost 80 trainers !

So, things are not so bad in France as we have now some nice Pixinsight users who does very nice job (also some interesting scripts)

Philippe,

Congrats, and thanks for posting your presentation. Even though my French is a little rusty, it's still very helpful.

Hello everybody,

After participating to the AIP training of May as beginner, I signed  up for the training of February 2013!
I joined as experts because of contents of the training proposed, although I'm far from being one.
In any case, I became PI addict!
And I have the feeling that the phenomenon is spreading like an oil stain by French astronomers.
I perverted myself 3 friends! (and they remained my friends!) ;D

Nice presentation that you made for the RCE Philippe, thank you for the link.
