Hi all,
I'm doing a couple of howto videos with italian language and I would like to clarify a couple of things before on this script.
The first thing I noticed, from the PI console during the run, it seems the RAW images (coming from a Canon camera) have been converted to RAW RGB images even if I selected RAW CFA in format explorer. Does this script ignore that setting?
Second thing: are the default values generally ready for use? I realize that one can probably get better results by fiddling with them, but many of my fellow photographers aren't really computer geniuses and I know they'd very much like to touch only what's really needed.
Also, is it ok to leave Windsorized Sigma for dark and bias, even if the number is small, say 5-6 darks/bias? Or does the general rules for light images still apply? (eg. for 10-15 images use Sigma, for even larger sets use Windsorized and for smaller set use percentile clipping)
Thanks!
Fabio
