Problem after last update under Linux 32 bit
« on: 2012 June 10 21:24:23 »
Hello,

my name is Holger from Germany.
Unfortunately, my English is very bad, this is why I use ImTranslator.

After the newest PI update are absent with me under Linux 32bit the processes STF and Histogram transformation.
There was with the update an error message which came after the new start not no more.
However, a process is loaded less as normally.
How can I load the missing process anew?

Hi Holger,

Try running PI with this command from the bin installation directory:

$ ./PixInsight.sh --default-modules

This will force reinstallation of all existing modules, which should solve your problem.

On a side note, *all* 32-bit versions of PixInsight are now obsolete. Starting with version 1.8.0 of PixInsight, no 32-bit application will be released for Linux and Mac OS X. I encourage you to update your system by installing a 64-bit Linux distribution.

Hello Juan,

Thanks for the tip.

Normally I use Pixinsight under Win7.
But I do the data reduction of my pictures with Theli under Linux.
And there Pixinsight serves me for the first sight on the pictures.
I do the real picture treatment under Win7.
