Hello,
I'm just learning how to use PixInsight, so if this is an obvious question, please excuse me.
I have an image of a point source (a star) and would like to subtract the image of another point source from it. The two point sources must be registered, so that the diffraction pattern from the second image is subtracted from the first. My question is, how do I go about aligning the two point sources? It seems like all the image registration algorithms built into the product work on star fields only. Is this a manual operation of some kind?
