Opening fits files

Hi

When I try to open some fits files by double clicking I get the message seen below in the process console window. I have opened the same file 10 times, from the 6th attempt to number 10 it opened? Later on I open the same file and I get the same error message.

PI remains useable!

PI version 01.07.04.0759 on an iMac running OS X 10.7.2

Hi Julian,

This is very strange, and probably indicates a bug somewhere. By 'double clicking' do you mean double clicking them on Finder, or opening through File > Open? Anyway, I cannot reproduce this bug. Could you please upload this FITS file somewhere? This is the only way I can understand what's happening.

Yes I mean double clicking on the file in a finder window.

Attached is the console window information when I try to open this file.

It does seem a an arbitrary problem!
