Problem with processing bayer images
« on: 2011 September 01 23:59:17 »
Hi all

I've rent time on  remote telescope and so I've in my possession some FIT files already calibrated. These files comes from an SBIG ST-2000 XCM (CCD color camera).
So the FIT files are "bayer" (CFA image ?)

In PI after doing the "debayerization" with (the BatchDebayer script), I've done (with success) the star alignement and integration.

But the image looks a strange pattern

For tests, I've done the bayer conversion after alignement and integration and I've the same result !

Where I'm wrong in my process ?

Thanks a lot

Hi,

Looks like debayering didn't work well for your images. In the Batch Debayer script, are you sure you're using the correct Bayer mosaic pattern for your images?

Are you sure the images are monochrome?

When reading your replay I've try all the bayer mosaic and for GRBG, the result is OK ... thanks a lot.
