Integration problem with CCD narrowband images
« on: 2020 February 16 12:57:48 »
Just completed a set of narrowband images of M1 and am trying to process them. Have three to six images of L, Oiii, Sii, Ha. Was able to integrate the luminance images, although the column defects are still present. But when I tried the Oiii images, integration blew up and complained that the images were empty or contained too weak a signal. Funny, I could open them all in PI and had no problem seeing the nebula structures. SOurce was T07 at iTelescope -- camera is an SBIG STL-11000. Now what...

Hi,

Try "Blinking" the images and seeing if the images contain the right data.  If that is all good, then run the ImageCalibration and then "Blink" the results. If still good, then do a Cosmetic Correction and Blink again.... etc etc.

You might be trying to do an ImageIntegration and pointing to a wrong folder or set of files (flats/darks etc.)
