Problem installing Starnet++ on Linux

I'm trying unsuccessfully to install the Starnet++ module on Kubuntu 19.10.
I have the command line version of Starnet++ running just fine but the PI module will not install. I've followed the install notes and copied the files to /opt/PixInsight/bin. When I attempt to install the module I get some lengthy error messages which I've attached.

I don't know where to take it from here - can anyone help?

i am not sure if nikita is reading this forum. he's the author of starnet and he compiled and released the linux version. i think he reads the thread on CN in the "software" section. you might get a response from him if you post there.

i went back and looked for the thread - it is in the "vendor and group announcements" forum, not the software forum. sorry about that.

Actually I went back to the download site and it says that the best way to get support is to post to the Starnet Astrobin channel. I'll try there first.
