When I open any file, the mouse cursor displays square blocks, making it impossible to work.
This started with the October 2019 release(PI-macosx-x64-1.8.7-20190930-c.pkg). I enclose a photo of the screen (screen captures do not display the error)
I reinstalled the May release (PI-macosx-x64-01.08.06.1473-20190514-c.pkg) and it works fine.

Here is the info from the Mac "about" screen:
iMac (21.5 inch, Late 2009)
Processor: 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory 8GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Startup Disk MacIntosh HD
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 9400 256MB

Since core version 1.8.7, PixInsight requires a processor with SSE4.2 instruction support on FreeBSD, Linux and macOS. This Core 2 Duo machine is no longer compatible with recent versions of PixInsight.
