DBE gives 'cannot close a dynamic target'
« on: 2019 September 29 11:24:47 »
Hi,

After performing the DBE on an image I want to close the old image. But the tool gives an error 'One or more views are being used as targets of an active dynamic session. cannot close a dynamic target'. I have no idea what went wrong. What should I do?

Only way to get rid of it is to kill PI. :-(

Second : Once I have set and manipulated all my samples in DBE, I want to preserve them for future use. How do I do that?

Thanks,
Gert

PS I wanted to share a screen snapshot illustrating the issue, but PI did something strange. When I wanted to chose the rectangle to capture the screen, the PI tool windows disappeared. How to fix that?

Hi Gert!
To kill PI or pull the powerplug thats one methode.
The better methode is to click in the DBE Process Windows in the bottom on the
red cross. This closes your DBE process and your dynamic session.

But before you do that i recommend to drag and drop the triangle in the left bottom of DBE on an
empty place on your workspace. From here you can open it again, or save it to disk etc and have all the parameter again set as before.
By the way this works for nearly all processes.

Set the screenshot  delay in the Capture Screenshot to more than 1 second so you have time enough
to draw a rectangle. Keep the cursor untill the snapshot pops up.
