Subframe Selector dotted lines ?
« on: 2019 August 27 10:06:44 »
Hi,

What do the dotted lines mean on my subframe selector plot graph ? Is it best to stack the images that are within these lines ? If I use FWHM obviously the lower number is better so would I then not stack anything above the top dotted line ?

Thanks.

The central horizontal dashed line corresponds to the median of the property across all subframes. The two horizontal dashed lines above and below the median line correspond to one mean absolute deviation unit greater than and less than the median, respectively.

It is explained in this document https://pixinsight.com/doc/scripts/SubframeSelector/SubframeSelector.html
