Aligned images as non-xisf format
« on: 2019 February 01 19:07:51 »
Hi all,

I normally use Star Alignment to register DSLR shots and then use those output registered files in other software such as Photoshop. I used to specify an output format of TIF so I can do this, but right now, up to date PixInsight version, I can't find an option in StarAlignment to output as TIF rather than XISF. XISF is no good to me as Photoshop doesn't read it. Where has it gone or am I just blind? I have "Sample format" as "Same as target".

Thanks,
Roger.

Hi Roger,

Open the BatchFormatConversion script and specify the .tiff output format extension. Then select the input .xisf files, a suitable output directory, and click OK to perform the conversion.
