What the **** is happening here?

Used my normal pre-processing and this is what came out at the other end. This has happened to all the stars except 4 of the brightest. With those stars I think the + and -0 are lost in the background brightness.

This is the result of outputting maps from Subframe Selector (the script version).
Correct?

Adam: there's a star detector script that creates a map like that.  It's used by FWHMEccentricity and probably the SubframeSelector script as well.

Speach: I think we'll need more details about what you did to explain what happened, but what you are looking at is an informational byproduct, not the final result.
