Customise Left Menu Bar

Hi,

Is there a way of hiding the "Format Explorer" and "Object Explorer" from the menu bar on the left of the screen?  I would also like the "Process Console" window to be thinner and not take up half the display.

Just use the 'Close' control (top right of the window) and the Explorer in question will be removed. If you need them again, go to the menu: VIEW/Explorer Windows/...

I would also like the "Process Console" window to be thinner and not take up half the display.

With the mouse, left click on the right edge of the window and pull it to the left. Analogously you can set the window height.

Thanks Bernd,

I am now able to hide some of the "Processes" that I don't use.  I am able to shrink the "Process Console" window up to a point, but then it stops.  (this console covers 2/5ths of the width of the monitor, when it is running)  It seems as if there is a hard limit, unlike a "Window" that can be stretched or shrunk to any size.

You can set a console window delay (Preferences>Miscellaneous Process Settings) and then the Process Console won't pop up except for long running processes.  I find that makes it a bit less intrusive.
