This is the second paragraph in the tutorial:

"Since the algorithm can be easily automated, it will be implemented as a PixInsight module as soon as possible."

I was wondering if this has been implemented. I don't think that it is the NBRGBCombination script, but maybe I'm wrong.

Thanks,
Dave

Unfortunately that is correct.  The NBRGBCombination script uses a different method.  I have actually been having great luck using image integration to do a noise weighted integration into both R and L.

How are you doing this?  Image integration works with minimum of three images. Are you doing this with subs?

You can add the same two images twice.
