Window of blink module behaving strange
« on: 2017 October 16 07:15:23 »
I use PixInsight on a iMac running 10.11.6 and was using the blink module. When I touched the mouse and (accidentally) scrolled, I got a error message and the Blink-window stretched out way under the bottom of my screen and I'm not able to resize it back. The buttons located at the bottom of the window are now out of sight. Even re-installing PI doesn't work, probably the size of the window is stored somewhere.  I a 2 screenshot from the Blink-window and the error message is this:

Critical signal caught (11): Segmentation violation

Did you get this problem solved? if not, try...

Click and drag the title bar of the blink window, drag it to the left. This should then show the scroll bar of the PI window. Scroll right down to the bottom then click/drag the bottom of the blink window up to get it back to the normal size.

Hello Mike,

I tried your suggestion but it did not solve the problem. No matter where I place the Blink window, I don't get to see a scrollbar.
It's a very annoying problem since I use the blink process at every start of my preprocessing. Reinstalling PI doesn't solve it either,
looks like my iMac is keeping track of the program, even when it's removed.

I found the solution on this one. If you place the program icon in the dock and hold down the CTRL key while clicking it, you get an small menu.
If you choose to open the program then all of the program will restart with all the default settings.
