Strange mouse click behavior on icons

Version 01.08.05.1352 on iMac running Sierra.

If I iconize an image or process box and then double click the icon, the icon does not open as before but hops across the screen or opens a file dialog. I have never had this before.  I have to take several goes at it, clicking different portions of the icon to get it to open.
Is anyone else seeing this?

mmh, not seen that on my Windoze laptop, but try speed-up or slow-down the mouse double-click time.

I tried what you describe, but could not reproduce it using my MacBook Pro and High Sierra.

thanks, - mine is a quad core iMac with plenty of RAM. If I am very deliberate, it works. Interesting.

i do not see this, but it sounds like it's related to the other Qt gui issues in the OSX version.

are you using 4k display? i still do not have a high-dpi display, so i wonder if that could be the cause.

I am not seeing this on my late 2015 i7 iMac with 4k and Radeon M9 though I do experience the Qt drag issue, which you do get used to dealing with.
