Local Normalization - an example for an application
« on: 2017 September 19 23:12:27 »
Hi,

Local Normalization for problem images.

In a series of only 4 pictures you would like to use all of them.
What to do if one of them has a pronounced gradient (caused by a passing car)?
Solution: Use Local Normalization!
For the parameters it was important to reduce the scale to 32 - leave the remaining parameters on the basic settings.
Draw the blue triangle on the problem image and the result is immediately visible.
Save and use it instead of the problem image in ImageIntegration.
This is the 'walking' method. You can also use batch mode.

Best regards!
Herbert, Austria

Hi Herbert,

Fantastic!! This is a very nice example of the kind of complex problems that can be solved with LN. The 3-D graph must be very nice for sure! ;)

I'll ask you for permission to use these data in one of our tutorials.
