Image Integration
« on: 2009 May 15 08:59:55 »
Should be possible to work with views in ImageIntegration? Now we can only work with images, previously saved; we normally align views, but only can stack images.

Thanks

I will explain better my former wish ...
1) in pre-processing we ever work with several images; for de-bayrerize, align, or stack ...
2) we can work with "views" for de-bayerize or align the images previously loaded in the screen. So we can do this, either with image container (for color registry), or directly with the option of "views" in star aligment.
3) but when we finally will stack our views already registered (aligned) that we have in the screen, and put an end to our pre-processing work, we can't do this with our images loaded in the secreen ("views") recently aligned, because the new option of "image integration" (stack) only works with "images", not with "views", and image container not work with them.
4) So we must save every view with "save as" in *.fit format, and then add the images from the disk to "Image integration" procces.

My wish then is: can we, in any moment, when possible, make all our work in pre-proccesing with "views" -images loaded in the screen-, without to save every of many pictures, and then to load them another time? Save every picture, when they are a lot, it seems hard and less funtional than work directly with views.

Thanks and I'm sorry!! because the new process is only four days old, and I speech as he were several months or years old !!!:-[
