You might get a response to your post here.  There have been instances of email replies from the PI team being blackholed by overzealous spam filters. What were you after?

Here is the case:
I sold my laptop to an astrophotographer. But, I forgot to uninstall the PI before he took it away. I don't want he uses PI for free. Is there a way that the developer will be able to shut the PI down when he download the update files, maybe?
