PixelMath image create mode behavior
« on: 2017 February 26 04:37:40 »
If I have a simple PixelMath equation of the form  (image1*.3)+(image2*.7), where image 1 and 2 are grey  and create a new image, the mode of the image changes according to the mode of the selected image window. If that happens to be a completely different RGB image, the mode of the created image becomes RGB too, even though it is the sum of two monochrome images.

In the lower part of the PixelMath window - Destination -
You can select in "Color space:" either :

as target (which leads to your issue)  or
RGB Color or
Grayscale

select Grayscale and everything should be fine.
