RGB/H-Alpha Combine
« on: 2017 February 16 11:52:32 »
I have read four or five articles on using H-Alpha data to enhance OSC camera images.  I have tried a variety of these approaches, but I have not had the success I expected.  I even remember reading that there might be a Pixinsight script in the works to combine RGB and NB images.  Could someone give me a link to the BEST approach to combining RGB and H-Alpha data?

My favourite one is Scripts>Utilities>NBRGBCombination.  It works well for me.  Just one thing that can catch you out.  The STF box is checked by default.  You will want to uncheck it for nonlinear images.  I almost always use it on nonlinear images.

Thank you so much.  I use utility scripts all the time and never saw it.
