Removing unwanted artefacts
« on: 2016 August 24 07:09:54 »
Hi,

I have "racked, packed and stacked" my images.  Then in the  light-BINNING_1.xisf image I crop and run the ABE and I notice two or three small artefacts from dust or moisture.  What is the best way to remove these blemishes and retain the background color.

Regards
John

Hi,

After much fiddling I found the "Clone Stamp" tool does the trick.  Ctrl+Left click to select area you want to use for the cover up and then LeftClick+hold and paint over the blemish.  Adjust the "Brush" radius, softness and opacity to suit.
