PI 1.7.4 continues to give me troubles during image integration.
16 frames (integer 32 bits) from a Canon 450d. I've tried with and without noise evaluation (this saved me in the past) but no luck.
This time, instead of the usual "Out of Memory", a different exception appeared, together with the invitaton to contact the support team...and here I am. See the attached image, it describes well the situition.
PI 1.7.4 (just upgraded) on Win XP, 4 GB RAM.

Happy Christmas
Federico

Hi Federico,

Take a look at the following thread:

http://pixinsight.com/forum/index.php?topic=3445.msg23756#msg23756

where a similar problem has been reported recently. As noted in that thread, the only good solution to this problem is using a 64-bit operating system and a 64-bit version of PixInsight. The workaround that you can use is decreasing the value of the buffer size and stack size parameters. For example, try setting buffer size to 4 or 2 MB. Hope this helps.

I tried the solution you suggest (I 've found it by myself reading the small hints in ImageIntegration. Very helpful, keep on them!) and I got success. My god, changing again PC and OS, @!#@!!!!

But sooner or later....

Thanks
Federico
PS. You declare in release notes that GradientDomain Module is now standard...but I can't find it anywhere. What should I do to display it?

If is not visible inside 'GradientDomain' node, try to do a 'search' of modules (right click over background, Install Modules..., button 'Search', select and install)

Hope this help,

Enzo.
