Hi all,

here is a foto of the region around the bubble nebula.
Astrometry Data:
(RA, Dec) center:(348.876964543, 60.6698399976) degrees
(RA, Dec) center (H:M:S, D:M:S):(23:15:30.471, +60:40:11.424)
Orientation:104.37 deg E of N

Pixel scale:13.76 arcsec/pixel

Parity:Reverse ("Left-handed")
Field size :2.45 x 1.63 degrees

NGC 7635 / Bubble nebula

Skywatcher ED80, 0.7x Reducer/Flattener Südkuppel Sternwarte Peterberg.
Canon EOS450, modified, Astronomik CLS Filter, 800ASA, 10x20 minutes

Hi Christoph. I like the wide fields too. You have captured the nebula nicely. Do you have a higher resolution image?

I notice that you took 20 minute exposures, so I presume that you are located at a dark site - the modified camera clearly makes a difference.

The observatory is under an "average" rural sky, next cities are about 40km away,
at a height of about 600m above sea-level
(see www.sternwarte-peterberg.de).
I made good experiences with the "cls astronomik clip filter" system. I almost often use it during
astrofotography.
With my modified Canon EOS45d I can have exposure times to 20-45min (even with a "fast" telephoto lens).
