Image container and debayer
« on: 2009 November 10 11:30:48 »
Hi

I am having a problem using the image container and the debayer module , being that I can not get it to save the debayered images it will only save grey images
I did not have a problem with the previous version of Pi

For the record I do the following

1) Select my unconverted images

2) select a out put directory

3) Put the image container instance on the debayer mod and let it run

I then get RGB images on the screen and grey images saved in the selected directory

I am sorry if its Me  :footinmouth:

Hi Harry,

I'll admit I never tried this before :) Indeed I see the same result as you. I probably implemented something incorrectly in the module. I hope Juan or someone else can give a hint so I can fix it.
Best,

Hi Harry,

I think I understand the problem. Debayer doesn't modify the existing image, it creates a new one. Image Container doesn't know this and simply saves the unmodified input file.

Debayer will need an option to modify the input file.

If my description of the problem is correct then it's a Sander fix. Image Container has no idea that Debayer created new files.
