New install on linux box, cancels the install.

Did you run the install with

Linux Mint cinnamon ver. 19.1 Tessa, not at that machine right now. That's a flavor of Ubuntu. I tried running the command as both su (root) and sudo and either received a cancel or illegal command. The help files need to be updated since they tell you to enter an old version number.

PixInsight 1.8.6 requires a processor with SSE4.1 instructions support. Which processor are you using in this machine?
