File order in Blink
« on: 2015 December 17 05:49:51 »
It seems to me that the files in Blink are randomly thrown in.  Here's a shot of some of mine.  The 6 digit number to the far right of each file is the timeline (i.e. hour, minute, second).
I've not found a way to organize the files to present them sequentially.
Any help here would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark

If you put in an image number before the time line that should solve the problem.  I number mine as a matter of course (easy to do in all the capture software I am aware of).  With the numbering, Blink lines them up in the order taken automatically.

Best,

Jim

Thanks Jim,

I suspected that would be the case.  I'll see what SGPro can do.

BTW, keep up the good work on your crib sheet.

in SGP i am using the following format string:

%dt\%tn_%ft_%fe_%dt_%tm_%ess_bin%bi_%su

that puts the date first, (in YYYY-MM-DD format) then the time (in HHMMSS format). that seems to keep everything in order in Blink.

Hi Rob,
yes I see several ways of numbering that will work.
Thanks for your suggestion.

I placed SGPro's "frame number (%fz)" directly after the "target name".  This assigned a sequential number to each file and allowed the Blink tool to properly organize them.

Thanks for your help.
